Global Warming

Global Warming

The earth is getting hotter day by day and various factors are responsible for burning of fossil fuels, emissions of carbon- dioxide and deforestation of trees on wide scale. The disastrous outcome of global warming is that now one can expect sudden changes in environment. The anthropogenic green gases are the chief coordinator in increasing the levels of greenhouse gases.

Consequences of Global Warming

According to some evidences, the last three years were reported to be the hottest years in the last eight years and this is all due to global warming. This phenomenon is surprising in the sense that the earth is getting hotter at very rapid rate. Global warming is caused by green house gases and the number of natural obstructions has enlarged. The key contributors of green house gases are carbon dioxide, methane, road transport, water vapor and nitrous oxide.

Global Warming and Ice Bergs

Global warming is solely accountable for frequent melting down of ice burgs and this further increases hazard like floods and other natural calamity. The mean level of the sea has increased to a great extent and this will overcome the low lying countries and this process is further increased due to global warming. Some species of the animals have become extinct because their natural houses are being snatched and some of the migrating birds have also changed their course and the time of their voyage and this is due to global warming.

Climatic Modifications

The climate has also modified and due to changing seasons all species is making compromises and those who are unable to cope up with this they are on the threshold of extinction. The bacteria are getting a suitable environment for proper growth because at warmer temperatures they grow at faster rate and this aspect is responsible for the spread of dreadful diseases.

Measures to preserve earth from Global Warming

Some economists are making plans to measure the overall cost of climate change for which global warming is to blame. According to them all the developing countries will have to face long term losses due to global warming because 70% of the population of these countries depends upon agriculture. Some countries are also adopting endeavors like Kyoto Protocol which involves a variety of standards provisions against global warming.
