Recycling-A Useful Technique
Our ambiance is all full of waste materials and sometimes these wastages may contain exploitable parts which can be used if proper proceedings are followed. People normally throw their waste into dustbins and they do not even think how useful this waste can be of? This discarded material can adopt a form which may prove much more beneficial for us and this process shall be called as recycling.
According to some evidences only a small portion of the total waste that is 7-8% of the waste is turned into utilizable form. Before starting any of the recycling activities one has to follow three steps:
1. All the waste parts and materials should be collected from doorsteps and commercial places.
2. All discarded materials should be collected from community dumps.
3. All waste should also be collected from dumping sites.
This fact is quite interesting to note that all waste which is produced inside the kitchens can be recycled and all the leftover materials, old newspapers and old bottles are put into compost pits and they take a new appearance which is serviceable.
Consequences of Recycling
Recycling has good consequences which leads to safer and cleaner environments and an individual can take the pleasure of fresh air in healthy environments. Some of the benefits of recycling are as follows:
1. Recycling leads to less energy consumption because ours is still an energy deficient country.
2. This technique makes the environment clean and an individual can obtain good environment.
3. Recycling also reduces environmental pollution which is a root cause of many diseases.
4. Recycling saves lot of money because when new commodities are produced they involve huge investments and recycled commodities are manufactured cheap.
Recycling From ecological point of view
Recycling is a very helpful phenomenon which reduces the emissions of greenhouse gases to a great extent; the greenhouse gases are beneficial for the well being of human as they help in maintaining the temperature level but excessive emissions can put a question mark for the endurance of human being. According to some known facts recycling plastics and steal requires 60-70% less energy utilization. If one wants to manufacture tons of papers, then for this purpose it would require the sparing of 12 trees but recycling can save 24 trees if one ton of office paper is to be produced.
So, recycling is one of the most eco-friendly techniques which can help our environment to a great extent.
